Our Work
What we believe in
We are an applied research, training and professional education institute.
Our mission is to foster inclusive learning and equity, with specific emphasis on supporting responsible entrepreneurship, employability skills, fundamental rights and civic participation. Our activities fall mainly within four sectors: entrepreneurship, cultural and creative industries, education, and the labour market.
Our vision is to help create an all-inclusive, just, and diverse society through creative learning methodologies and digital tools that empower communities through co-creation, social action projects, and the promotion of human rights.
Areas of Work
Rinova and its consortium partners work together in partnership with the private sector, education, civil society organisations and the public sector to tackle unemployment and address systemic barriers related to gender, race, and other forms of discrimination through targeted job brokerage and support people to enhance their employability and overcome barriers to successful progression in the labour market.
We design, implement and evaluate inclusive skills, vocational education and lifelong learning programmes to (re)train and empower those who are out of work and enhance the skills of those who are in work. We specialise in the continuing professional development of tutors, trainers and guidance practitioners in both formal and non-formal educational settings, and with an intersectional approach.
Our specialist sector team has led the way over the years in contributing to the increasing recognition of the many ways that arts and culture foster social and economic inclusion, promote human rights, gender equality, and combat racism.
Having a ‘can-do’ attitude, overcoming challenges and implementing ideas is at the heart of effective community and economic development – whether through new business start-up, or through social action and volunteering- enabling communities to have a greater say and sense of ownership of their own affairs while combating discrimination and promoting equity.
