The WEntre project, funded by the EU, supports VET providers in developing educational programs based on foundational competencies to empower women in developing countries, particularly in the Arab Mediterranean region, to combat unemployment and gender inequality, fostering entrepreneurship and enhancing youth employment opportunities.
Using well-known global frameworks like the European Reference Framework (ERF), the European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (ENTRECOMP), and the UN Women Values & Competences Framework, WEntre aims to empower women by helping them fight unemployment and gender inequality through entrepreneurship.
RINOVA, in collaboration with partners, is responsible for the development of the WENTRE Competence Framework based on the results of a comparative analysis on gaps, challenges, and solutions in partners’ VET systems; for leading the development WEntre educational package and standards; and the e-learning open platform.
