Asociación Rinova

Asociación Rinova

ASOCIACIÓN RINOVA PARA LA EDUCACIÓN Y LA INVESTIGACIÓN is a non-profit, independent organisation based in Spain and part of the wider Rinova Group. The Association was formally established to strengthen Rinova’s long-standing commitment to education, applied research and social innovation carried out on an entirely non-profit basis.

Since Rinova’s foundation in 2010 as a social enterprise, not-for-profit activities have been a core and consistent part of its work. Over the years, Rinova has designed and implemented numerous projects funded through public and private grants, often operating within frameworks specifically intended for non-profit, educational and research-oriented organisations. The creation of ASOCIACIÓN RINOVA PARA LA EDUCACIÓN Y LA INVESTIGACIÓN responds to this trajectory and to the growing need for a dedicated legal entity that can fully meet eligibility requirements for non-profit action, research and cooperation at national, European and international level.

While legally independent, the Association benefits from being embedded within the Rinova Group ecosystem. It draws upon the Group’s extensive experience, professional capacity, methodological expertise and networks, while operating with its own governance, mission and non-profit mandate. In this way, the Association can act as a trusted vehicle for receiving, managing and distributing grants and resources exclusively in pursuit of public interest objectives.

Mission and Purpose

The Association’s mission is to promote social, cultural, economic and educational inclusion through lifelong learning, vocational and professional education, applied research and social action. Its work places particular emphasis on employability, active citizenship, equality, social entrepreneurship and access to opportunity, supported by innovative and digitally enabled learning methodologies.
Through applied research and knowledge transfer, the Association seeks to generate evidence, tools and models that improve educational practice, labour market integration and policy design. It designs, pilots and scales innovative learning approaches aimed at reskilling and upskilling people of all ages, with a strong focus on inclusion, empowerment and participation.

Areas of Activity

The Association’s activities span four closely connected domains:

  1. Applied research and knowledge generation, including studies, action-research, pilot initiatives and impact evaluation in education, employability and lifelong learning.
  2. Educational transfer and professional development, through training programmes, workshops, mentoring, learning laboratories and communities of practice.
  3. Innovation in competences, fostering digital, civic, entrepreneurial, linguistic, cultural, green and STEM/STEAM skills for social and professional life.
  4. Cooperation and networking, working with public authorities, educational institutions, enterprises and civil society organisations in Spain and internationally.

All results produced by the Association—research outputs, methodologies and educational resources—are disseminated openly to maximise social value and public benefit.

Vision

The Association shares the broader Rinova vision of contributing to an inclusive, just and diverse society. It believes in education and applied research as powerful tools for social transformation, enabling individuals and communities to actively shape their futures. Through creative learning methodologies, digital tools and collaborative approaches, the Association supports co-creation, social innovation and the promotion of fundamental rights.

By combining independence as a non-profit association with the strength of the Rinova Group’s experience and networks, ASOCIACIÓN RINOVA PARA LA EDUCACIÓN Y LA INVESTIGACIÓN acts as a platform for meaningful, high-impact educational and research initiatives that respond to real social challenges.
