🎮 Discover radicalGAME: Play, Learn, Reflect!

We are excited to bring you the latest updates from the RadicalGAME project! The interactive RadicalGAME platform is now fully available, providing a unique and innovative tool to
engage young people in discussions about civic participation, social inclusion, and the prevention of radicalisation. Through immersive scenarios, participants take on different roles, face challenging situations, and explore the consequences of their decisions in a safe and reflective environment. The platform encourages critical thinking, negotiation, and dialogue, making
learning both meaningful and fun.

🌍 Local Awareness Events – Making an Impact Across Europe

In the last three months, we have hosted local awareness events, reaching schools, youth centers and community groups in different countries. In total, more than 180 young people took part in these sessions, playing scenarios from our game, debating ideas and reflecting on solutions to real-life social issues. The activities sparked lively discussions, encouraged teamwork and allowed participants to step into someone else’s shoes to better understand diverse perspectives. To learn more about the events and other opportunities related to RadicalGAME, you can get in
touch with your local partner organisations.

“It is crucial to create space for reflection on important issues such as radicalisation and hate speech, and radicalGAME offers a wide range of opportunities to address these topics with young
people.” – Montse, moderator from Spain.

“It’s incredible to see how quickly young people get into character, connect with the scenarios, and advocate for their ideas. Even if they’re not yet experts in advocacy, the game helps them discover the best ways to speak up for the good of the whole group.”- Sophia, moderator from Cyprus.

📅 Transnational Event in Valencia: Creativity and Dialogue in Action

On 2 October 2025, the radicalGAME team gathered at the cultural centre Nave 3 Ribes in
Valencia for the transnational event “Deconstruir creencias para reconstruir comunidades” – part
of the awareness-raising activities taking place across Europe in the final months of the project.
It was a truly inspiring afternoon of creativity, reflection and collaboration.

Partners from across Europe, together with local educators, youth workers, associations, public institutions and community members, came together to explore how education, creativity and dialogue can help prevent polarisation and foster inclusion. The event featured interactive sessions, inspiring discussions with guest speakers from Al Descubierto and L’Argila – organisations fighting online polarisation and promoting social justice – and a live graphic recording by the designer Teresa Sempere (Tereseta), whose illustrations beautifully
captured the key ideas and emotions of the day.

For those who couldn’t join us in Valencia, presentations and discussions were live-streamed, while Tereseta’s illustrations remained on display at the cultural centre for two weeks after the event. A digital booklet collecting all the drawings and messages from this memorable day will be published soon.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event a celebration of learning, creativity and community!
