The power of play to transform communities:
radicalGAME presents its final results
radicalGAME, the EU-funded project “GAME-based Pedagogies for Youth-Led Dialogue and Active Citizenship to Prevent Discrimination and Radicalisation”, is coming to a close after two years of collaboration among partners in Spain, Greece, Italy, Germany and Cyprus. Through a series of events and local awareness actions, the consortium celebrated the project’s achievements and shared the results of two years of work promoting dialogue, empathy and social inclusion through game-based learning with more than 180 participants across all countries.
At the heart of the initiative is our card game, an innovative educational tool designed to empower young people to reflect on radicalisation and discrimination while encouraging cooperation, creativity and critical thinking. Tested in multiple educational settings, the game reached more than 150 young people and involved more than 100 educators across Europe.
As one of the main outcomes of the project, radicalGAME has launched its digital platform. It brings together all the tools and resources created throughout the project — allowing educators, youth workers and organisations to access the printable and digital versions of the game, explore learning materials and discover inspiring stories and activities developed across Europe.

In addition, the consortium has released a guide presenting insights from two virtual roundtables held in June 2025, which brought together more than 40 participants from across Europe. Each session explored how radicalisation and discrimination affect different aspects of young people’s lives, through focused discussions facilitated by the radicalGAME partners and external
experts. Participants also exchanged best practices and practical ideas for policy recommendations to prevent violence and foster
positive social impact.

Although the project is formally concluding, its legacy will continue through the open platform and the educational resources designed to help youth workers and educators foster active citizenship, dialogue and critical thinking among young people.
